Ideal for measuring refractive index on the Brix scale. This model can be used to measure the refractive index of fruit, fruit juice, wine, milk, soft drinks, yeast culture solutions, or similar products. The concentration available is 0~65% Brix.

Small, light weight and as simple to use as a basic optical refractometer, but with the accuracy of a digital readout. Sample size can be as small as 1mL. The temperature is initially displayed followed by the measurement results.

The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation and automatic shutoff (after 3 minutes). A sturdy soft-sided water resistant case protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups. Features one button calibration to distilled water and indicates when the battery should be replaced (8000 readings).
